Remaining hidden, she heard them talking about Balgruuf and sending a message. She was proved right when she overheard Ulfric and his second, Galmar Stone-Fist, speaking about the events that were unfolding. If what she knows of the Empire, Lexara guessed that it was not taken very well. Apparently the Jarl of Windhelm, Ulfric Stormcloak, has organized a rebellion and began recruiting soldiers for his army. First, there was the news of the civil unrest in Skyrim. Whiterun - Halls of the Dead, Whiterun Catacombs - Head into the catacombs, and down the flight of stairs on the left.Go through that, and it's on the shelves next to the bed - Contributed by Alonso Swoon. In that room, there's a door to your right. Whiterun - in Jorrvaskr, Living Quarters - At the end of the main corridor, there's Kodlak's room.It's the room on the left, on the upper floor - Contributed by Alonso Swoon. Whiterun - in Dragonreach - On the Jarl's bedside table.Stones of Barenziah - Chronologically Added "Town" being the Town it's located in, "Building" being the building it's in, and "Description" being where it is in the building. If you do find a gem that's not on the list, and you want to help out, you can do it in any way you please, but following this template will make it much, much easier for us, as we can just hop in-game and confirm it! Full descriptions are needed for locations, too, not just "It was in Riften". So, given that these gems are scattered around Skyrim, and there's no list of locations yet, that's what this is for! Hopefully, we can get a detailed list of all 24 Stones of Barenziah, numbered chronologically as they were added to the list, and also by location. You get a quest to travel the whole of Skyrim, searching for tiny gems! She'll then state that it's a Stone of Barenziah, of which there are 24 in total - and guess what, it's your lucky day. To do so, you must take it to the Thieves Guild, in Riften, and ask Vex to have a look at it. You then get a quest to get it appraised. For those who don't know what the Stones of Barenziah are - upon your travels, you might happen upon a small, floating purple gem, above a jewelry case. ![]()
